How it works . . .
The QuadCooler is a rectangular platform (10.5"x12.8") made of
sturdy ABS plastic that is designed to sit underneath your
laptop and provide an "air gap" between the laptop and the
QuadCooler. This air gap allows air to circulate (warm air out,
cool air in) beneath the laptop and thus enabling the hot laptop
components to cool down. In addition, the QuadCooler also has 4
built-in fans that draw warm air down into the laptop cooler and
out the sides (air exhaust ports) and into the surrounding
atmosphere. Another side benefit is that plastic is an
insulator, which means the QuadCooler actually acts like a
barrier or "heat shield" between the laptop and your lap.

That's right folks! NO BATTERIES HERE. The QuadCooler is powered by a special little cable that plugs
into any available USB port on your laptop computer. That means
you don't have to buy or replace batteries. It also means you
don't have to carry around a bulky AC adapter. No, all you have

shirt/pants pocket.
Is the QuadCooler
right for me?
Well, that depends. If your
laptop never gets hot, then you don't need a QuadCooler, but my
experience tells me there's never been a laptop that doesn't get hot and
it's only getting worse as manufacturers cram bigger and more powerful
processors under the hood (so to speak). The second question would be,
"Does my laptop fit on
the QuadCooler?". The best bet is to
measure the distance between the rubber feet on the bottom of your
laptop computer and see if they will fit within the dimensions of the QuadCooler,
which are:
